About Me

This year has truly been an amazing one for me as Mr. Tony’s Corner Pocket 2010, and I have had an amazing year during this reign. In my mind, this title has embraced me as much as I have embraced it, but I have been given so much more in return. Truly, winning this title had always been somewhat of a fantasy for me, if you will, since the time that I first saw the contest in 2008. Now, as I have stepped-down as Mr. Tony’s Corner Pocket 2010, the dream for me has finally come full circle from fantasy to reality. In this moment, I take my place within the Tony’s Corner Pocket family of titleholders to witness a new beginning for two individuals on their tropical adventures in paradise.

During my reign, I could not have been as successful in fundraising without the support and dedication of caring individuals within our community. Thank you to Regina Dane, Miss Tony’s Corner Pocket 2010 and to An’Marie Gill who served as my Co-Emcees of my shows and who also performed along with a fabulous cast including, Carlos Rivera, Alton Howard/Sueage Debris, Phil Lyles/Lillian Devereaux, Eddie Taylor, Blair Fullerton, Boo Boo Gill, Mikey Gill, Raven (aka Edward Smith), Alex Stroud, Jack Adams, Alicia Dos Amantes Gill, Kari Kristopher, Scott Kenyon, Jackie Danielle, Falcon, Ginger Vitis, Isabella Rose Mink, Miss Ellaine Eous, Gia Elecktra, Sharbie Cole, Tara Dion and Selena St. John. Thank you to David Adams for your love, support and creativity (as always) in assisting with graphic design, poster creations, promotions and accounting details. Thank you to Jimmy aka Justa Façade, Jen Mason, David Johnson, David Paul Steward, Tony Vaccaro, and Don Gill for your individual donations to my fundraising efforts. Thank you for Tony’s barstaff and DJ Peggy for service and assistance above and beyond the call of duty. Most of all, thanks to everyone who took one moment at a time to donate one dollar at a time. All of you possess that star quality of uniqueness, charm, charisma, nerve and talent, and I was truly honored by each of you for being a part of fundraising efforts for PWA Holiday Charities, a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to the betterment of people living with and affected by HIV/AIDS.

On one final note, to my counterpart, Regina Dane, Miss Tony’s Corner Pocket 2010, I have been very fortunate to have shared this amazing reign with you, and I look forward to what the future holds in store for both of us. May we both reflect upon our year as that one chance that we were given to work together and get to know each other a little better. And may we look toward this year as an opportunity to show our love and support to our successors and to our home bar, Tony’s Corner Pocket. And so, from the Broadway musical, “Wicked”, I leave you with these words - ”Who can say if I’ve been changed for the better? But because I knew you, I have been changed for good.” To you and to everyone involved in this successful year with me as Mr. Tony’s Corner Pocket 2010, thank you very much! 

  


This year has truly been an amazing one for me as Peter Poppin’ Tail, and I have had the time of my life as Playboy Bunny Reject 2010. Having this title has been a great honor for me as it was the very first title that I had ever won. Hearing my name called out as the winner was definitely a moment that I will never forget or regret. From the bottom of my bunny tail to the top of my bunny ears, I am very honored and privileged to join a family of Playboy Bunny Rejects. In 2007, Carlos Rivera aka “Carlos Lynch Bear” was the first. In 2008, Eric Stutes aka “Sister Monica Lawinski” was the second. In 2009, Doug Weiss aka “Miss Ima Whole” was the third. And in 2010, I as “Peter Poppin’ Tail” proudly take my place as the fourth. Soon, we shall find out who will win tonight’s title, and I hope that Playboy Bunny Reject 2011 experiences an amazing year as we all have had during our individual reigns. And now for a thank you or two. First and foremost, thank you to Tommie Allen, Ma Bunny, for producing this community title and for being House Mother to a family of Bunny Rejects. Thank you to David Adams for your love and support and for helping create “Peter Poppin’ Tail”. Thank you to An’Marie Gill and Boo Boo Gill for serving both as emcees and performers in my three fundraising events: "Talk To The Animals"; "A Cowboy Cabaret – Where Liza With A 'Z' Meets Patsy With An 'S'"; and "The Something Old, New, Borrowed & Blue Show" which benefited The Holiday Charities and The Colt 45s AIDS Trouble Fund. Along with An’Marie and Boo Boo, thank you to my fabulous cast of performers: Jackie Thorne, Stacey McBride O'Neil, Blair Fullerton Gill, Eddie Taylor, Isabella Rose Mink, Dixie Leonard, Mikey Gill, Jackie Danielle, Todd & Cory of the Lonestar Lariats, Regina Dane, Craig Sanford, Alicia Dos Amantes Gill, Jeremy Baker, Alton Howard, Bob Skinner, Christopher Prado, Marcia Mink Anne Gill, Gay Nell Gulihur, Sheri Anne Bouton, and Susan Hayes. All of you possess that star quality of uniqueness, charm, charisma, nerve and talent, and I was truly honored by each of you for being a part of my fundraising efforts. Thank you to the Empire of The Royal, Sovereign and Imperial Court of the Single Star, Inc. for requesting my special appearance in their production of “Malice In Wonderland” – Mama might have told me not to come, but I did anyway. Thank you to the bar staff and management of the Brazos River Bottom and Tony's Corner Pocket for allowing me the time and the place to host my fundraising events, and of course, thank you to my two DJs: DJ David Sawyer at the BRB and DJ Peggy at Tony’s Corner Pocket. For Accounting Detail, I would like to say thank you to David Adams and Edward Smith for keeping the cash and credit donations fully accountable. Most of all, thanks to all of you who donated one dollar at a time. Together, we were able to raise much needed funds for my chosen beneficiaries, The Holiday Charities and The Colt 45s AIDS Trouble Fund.
